These suspension plates are available in various sizes and colours. These have been designed for a number of reasons: 1. To increase the maximum drop of a light fitting. 2. If a fitting's top plate is too wide to hang from a vaulted ceiling but you wanted to fill the area with a wider diameter light fitting. 3. If you have to hang from a beam or joist.
